Ramen Hokushin — Restaurant in Kanazawa

We entered the restaurant and without saying anything the cook told us to leave, kind of expelling us. He was very rude and bad-tempered. That's not how you treat customers. He doesn't understand that without customers this restaurant won't survive and consequently he loses his job and won't be able to support his family and his own life. That is wrong. He scared us as if we were dogs and you don't even talk to dogs like that. I recommend all tourists and travelers not to visit this place. They will be treated badly because they don't like foreigners. And food is a matter of energy and if the guy who cooks has this energy it really transfers to the dish he makes. So don't visit this...

Had the aburi-chashumen. Broth had too much fat, but wasn't entirely bad. The grilled chashu was delicious. The noodles were too soft and lacking in texture and flavor. Front area of the restaurant smelled of smoke. Good service. Japanese style toilet only and...

Preislich typisch für "Touristen". Zwischen 800 und 1100Yes pro Gericht. Dafür sehr sehr große Portionen und extrem lecker. Wir sind jetzt seit 2 Wochen in Japan und haben mehrere Städte besucht. Bisher mit Abstand der beste Rahmen den wir hatten. Die Bewertungen bezüglich der Angestellten, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Alle sehr nett. Sprechen zwar nur japanisch. Aber man verständigt sich immer irgend wie. Abends ist der Laden immer extrem voll - Reservierung nötig. Wir sind am nächsten Tag mittags hin. Tip top. Alles super. Für einheimische vielleicht etwas hohe Preise. Aber naja als Tourist 6€ für ne riesen portion...
