Everyone was so kind to me even though I was a foreigner with limited Japanese. The sushi chef explained the ingredients to me in English, but it was unfortunate that we could not converse freely like with the other customers.
However, the high quality of the restaurant is clear from how many regulars there were on that night. I really appreciate how some of them tried talking to me when they noticed I was traveling by myself. It created a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
The highlight of the crab course was the kobako crab. It was the most delicious sushi I had ever tried in my life. Watching the sushi chef hard at work was an honor. I tried many unique sushi ingredients that I don't think I'll find outside Ishikawa prefecture.
