Cosy, Japanese-Italian restaurant run by a husband-and-wife team in a 2-storey shophouse. The food is very good, an inventive fusion of both cultures, and can be eaten with chopsticks or cutlery as you will. Served Japanese-style in diminutive but beautifully-presented portions, we partially enjoyed the local oysters with yuzu granita; the tuna tataki with tapenade; the breaded swordfish; the pappardelle with shrimp and butter sauce; and the wonderfully tender braised Noto beef cheeks. The staff were super friendly, and even though they spoke limited English and did not have an English menu, they still did their absolute best to make sure that we had an awesome dinner. Also the price was very affordable despite all we had to eat and drink. I would 100% recommend anyone travelling to Kanazawa...
