There are only a few seats so the chef can attend to each guest.

The ingedients are from local Karatsu, so they are fresh and seasonal. Karatsu and the Saga prefecture is renowned for food products from fresh fish to vegatablea to Kobe beef.

There are two dinner menus, both very reasonably and moderately priced. The chef prepares all food in front of his guests, who can marvel at his great skills. To augment, the sake in the restaurant pairs perfectly with the great sushi.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this is just the restaurant I like the most in Kyushu. The chef also speaks English fluently so this is a great place for travellers like me.

Jun-san, the owner, is one of the kindest people I met when I was in Karatsu, and that’s saying a lot because people in Karatsu were exceptionally kind. His sushi was delicious and when my Japanese failed he did his best to speak in English. He was kind and informative about Karatsu.
