APPLE PIE lab 軽井沢 — Restaurant in Karuizawa

The best apple pie I have ever had!! Nagano is famous for apple in Japan and the apple pie here is much beyond my expectation. Each menu here is different by types of apples or fruits. I understand that we can buy takeaway only and can eat at the seats just next to the shops.

I chose Shinano Fuji apple pie because it is number one best seller. The apple is very fragrant and sweet. Too bad that I was full so I bought only 1 pie. In my next visit, I will definitely try other menu...

Besides the yummy apple pie or turnover in Aomori, this shop serves awesome apple pie or turnover. The smell in the shop is wonderful, and the addition of custard makes the bakeries so much richer in taste. I'm glad to run into this store on a cold autumn day for a warm apple turnover.

It's located on the mail road from the Karuizawa train station. A nice long walk to the station but a short distance from the shopping area.

The custard apple pie is good. Just sad that there are no seats and tables even outside. The one piece real apple pie costed 680¥. Which is pricey than me making apple pies at home.
