I did not know it was even possible for a meal to be this bad.

I was looking forward to eating here having done research in advance. It looked like a good restaurant and had good reviews.

The interior is simple but nice. The restaurant is dog friendly so the other tables all had small dogs.

We arrived here around 6pm on a weekday. There were two other tables occupied, but half of the restaurant was vacant. Service is a bit slow but there is only one chef and one waiter so it’s understandable.

After we finished ordering, my partner who didn’t want a drink was informed that she had to order a drink as it was store policy. The least expensive drink here is ¥700, which is kind of ridiculous. We went along with this absurd policy as we like to support small businesses, but really we should’ve taken this as a red flag and left immediately.

The food was just horrible. The antipasti appetizer looked nothing like the photo in the menu, and all of foods tasted like they were taken out of a can. Not fresh, not tasty, very oily, not prepared! Then came the pasta. The Ragu was like nothing I have ever eaten before. Instead of being pasta with meat sauce, it was just dry pasta with chunks of oily sausage. Disgusting! Next was the Vongole Bianco which was another disaster. The chef somehow forgot to add garlic and the pasta noodles tasted like they were very old and stale. We sent it back to the kitchen, and it came out much better the second time. Most disappointing of all was this restaurant did not use fresh pasta. I really cannot understand how they want to be taken seriously if they are choosing to use dry pasta. I can make better food in...

The food and wine was fine and we enjoyed it, but the dinner didn’t end with a happy one. We booked the table online and well explained we will visit with little kids.

When the dinner was almost done, I told my 6- year old son to go to the staff and practice asking for the bill in Japanese. He couldn’t speak well so no one could understand him, and a Japanese customer who was chatting with the owner/ chef got irritated and spoke loudly to me: “we are having dinner here!” Signaling my kids were bothering him. And what’s worse, the chef also pushed my kids back.

I have been cautious to keep my kids behave well the entire night. What we did is just to ask him to get the bill. The customer talked loudly the whole night himself…

It was a pity as the food and service from other staff was good. I hope we had been treated equally by the chef. I know kids can be annoying sometimes, so we were very mindful. if that was still not enough, I would say the restaurant shouldn’t accept kids at the...

Almost two weeks into our trip to Japan, we were craving for some Western food. When we passed by this restaurant, someone was just leaving and he said, “this is the place - you will not be disappointed.” + superb service, staff are able to communicate even if their English proficiency isn’t top notch + extensive wine selection, even the “house” red was delicious + uni cream spaghetti is the best

Very nice place for a casual dinner, and with great pizza, baked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizza crusts I have eaten in Japan. They have a very nice terrace as well, and if we had known that beforehand, we would have booked a table there, as it would have been a bit cosier. Unfortunately they didn't have any tables available there. So probably something for next time to consider.
