Extremely disappointed with this place - the desserts was supposedly to feature the awesomeness of Samaya tea (狭山茶) grown in Saitama prefecture. And sadly, the tea this dessert place served lack any distinguished or distinguishable smell, color, taste, and after-taste. What was even worse was the desserts, which was ungodly and ruinously sweet and we only saw the pale green color on the desserts without tasting any tea, let alone Samaya. The tea tastes really nice, but the service makes us really upset. When we came to the cashier and were ready to pay, the staff suddenly change our items. I saw they were checking the expired date of the tea. Truth is, we didn’t know they put two different expired dates together, we thought that they all the same. That is why we just took whatever two bags and then went to pay. I understand as the owner of the store, they will really care about the expired date. However, the staff did not inform us and suddenly went to change our items. even if I asked them, they pretended like there is nothing happened!! Although the tea is awesome, the service will made the guest feel uncomfortable for sure!!

茶非常好喝。 可是我們拿商品要去結帳時，店員突然拿我們的商品去換，我們都已經拿到結帳區了！超級扯！ 我們根本不知道他放不同的效期，所以我們就隨便拿兩個去結帳。 他看到我們的商品時，表情超級驚恐，立刻跑去換別包給我們，也沒跟我們解釋發生什麼事情，即使我問了也裝沒事。 後來我看到他們在check有效日期，我去看才發現原來我們拿到了比較晚的日期，導致被店家調換！...

長峰園は、鶴ヶ島市内で最大の茶畑を持ち、栽培から製茶、販売まで一手にやられています。本店は鶴ヶ島市内にありますが、オリジナルのスイーツも買い求めたかったので、観光地にある川越札の辻店に初訪問しました。

観光の中心の一番街北端、札の辻の交差点にお店があります。以前は呉服屋さんをやられていた風情のある建物。１階はお茶類の販売、２階は「和芳庵」と名付けられたお茶やスイーツがいただけるカフェ。お茶やスイーツを買い求めるのが目的でしたが、スイーツは味見をしてから購入したいということで「和芳庵」へ。

履物を脱いで靴袋に入れて２階へ上がります。この袋がストライプ柄。川越の木綿織物を代表する「川越唐桟（とうざん）」で作られたもの。川越らしい。平日でしたが、２階はほぼ満席。観光で訪れた方がひと休みされてる方が多いように見受けられました。

メニューを見て、「かわごえ茶」600円をオーダー。スイーツは、五家宝、くず餅、最中から選べます。最中をチョイス。店内の雰囲気も手伝って、お茶も最中も格別な味わいでした。

調子に乗って、追加オーダー。「さやまきっさこ」800円。これは３種類のスイーツが味わえますから、この日の私の目的にピッタリ。生チョコ、ブール・ド・ネージュ、棒チョコが、それぞれ抹茶味とほうじ茶味の２タイプ用意されているので、計６種類味わえることになります。長峰園のスイーツの種類はまだまだあるので、味見をしきれませんが、この日はこの中から土産を選ぶことに。

カフェでゆっくり味わい、私は生チョコを購入することに決定。２階でカフェの会計とプレミアム茶葉が半額でしたので、それも購入。１階で、人気のお茶「つるがしま」と狭山紅茶、生チョコの抹茶とほうじ茶を２袋ずつ、それに、五家宝ほうじ茶味と紅茶くず餅を購入。

スタッフさんも皆さん、丁寧な接客で、ついつい買いすぎました　笑。美味しい狭山茶やスイーツを購入するにも、観光でひと休みするにもオススメの店です。店に近づくと、ほうじ茶の芳ばしい香りが漂ってきますよ。ほうじ茶は１階の店内で...
