I stayed here for Kawagoe Matsuri.||The location is excellent.|It is 5 minutes walking from Hon Kawagoe station (Shinu Shinjuku line).|It is not in the Main Street but there are many shops to see on the street as well. |Also it is only one block away from the main street. ||This is a hot spring place with a theatre.  |Anyone can use the public bath only between 0900-2400. (not necessary to stay over if you wanna use a public bath)|Cleaning time : 0700-0900.||Check in is only at 1500 whereas check out is 1000 (a bit too early ?) ||I could leave my luggage before 1500 but they wonât accept your luggage once you check out.|There are coin lockers at the reception area. You have to use the lockers if you want to leave your luggage after check in. (Not free)||I chose a night with breakfast. (0700-0930)|Breakfast is served buffet style. Mainly it is Japanese food, which I enjoyed pretty much, I saw some bread but not so much. |If you are not a big fan of Japanese food, you should book a room only. There is a convenience store (LAWSON) just in front of the hotel.||Public bath is so huge. |There are 5 or 6 bathtubs with different scents. One of them is todayâs scent. When I stayed there, it was lavender and the forest bathing |Makeup room is very good too. Cotton swab, tissues, hair dryer, lotion and face milk are provided. You can find a water dispenser here.||I stayed overnight. |Bath towels, face towels and pajamas are provided.| Body sponge, toothbrushes are also provided in each room. |A Japanese Unit bath (a very typical small bathroom) is equipped in each room. If you don't like public baths, you can take a shower in your room.||You have to take off your shoes inside the building and leave them in a smaller locker. (Free to use)||Room is very small and old but I was quite happy with it. |AC, TV, desk, slippers, closet ,,,, |you can find almost everything you need.||When I go to Kawagoe, I will definitely stay there again because I really enjoyed the...

Read moreVery lovely hotel! I stayed in the peak of cherry blossom period, only $81sgd for my 1 night stay. Includes free use of public bathhouse which was dated but very lovely, big and clean with lots of different baths. Free edo period performance at night, and breakfast! Super value for money. Great location, near the Honkawagoe station + many beautiful spots nearby (Kawagoe Castle / Sakura river / pachinko / book off / food etc). It is a quiet town, and the hotel was 99% locals. Recommended!! 𥰠Staff are also very friendly! Thank...
