It's certainly an interesting concept: They roast the coffee on the spot for you, with a special oven that throws the beans around while roasting. The service is awesome - they talk you through your options and your tastes and even give you free coffee while you wait for your roast. Prices are reasonable.

The resulting roast is, however, only as good as you can expect with this this method. If I compare this with the methods used by my favorite roasters at home, then it's just clear that there is much less precision and overall effort involved, because they sell too many different beans and the instant roasting doesn't allow for any experimentation or fine-tuning. The flavour approaches what you might have in mind, but it doesn't quite live up to a proper roast that has been done at the optimal speed and temperature and sitting in the open air for a while to...

You can find various veriety of coffee beens here and rost can be done by members as per request. They can grind it if you want as per your choice.

Rates are also reasonable. Compared to other shops who also roast I find speed of this shop is quite fast. One can get roasted beans of your choice in around 20-30 mins.

There are lots of products related to coffee home roasting machine, mini mill, filters, french press etc.etc.

Only thing I found little disappointing is that staff is so busy that they are unable to explain with sufficient time if we want to know in detail about a perticular coffee bean.

This place was such a nice little find while walking to the Tama river from Kawasaki station. You can smell the roasted fresh coffee beans and it's a must stop if you consider yourself a coffee addict.
