En Steak House — Restaurant in Kobe

Read a number of reviews at various restaurants before deciding on EN STEAK HOUSE. Seems like all Kobe Beef restaurant have their fair share of negative reviews in particular their service level. Without much choice, I decide to take the plunge with EN STEAK HOUSE. After my whole experience, I can’t even comprehend why some ppl posted negative review.

Firstly, had a great evening. The staffs were really accommodating despite me booking the wrong “Japanese Date”. Instead of being turn away, we were greeted with a warm welcome and an even warmer smile. Thumbs up to their service!!

Secondly, my wife and myself ordered their premium Wagyu set and was delighted with the quality of the meat!! Easily one of the best wagyu bearing in mind I’ve eaten a lot especially during in my 2 years of KETO.

Thirdly the price was reasonable and comparable even to many “wagyu” beef shops off the road considering we had a “champion” authentic Kobe...

This place was absolutely amazing. It's not immediately obvious as a Gaijin that you're looking for something not on the ground floor, but that almost adds to it when you get out of the lift and see an amazingly organised, high-class experience that catered as well to business groups, as it did to family birthday celebrations. The staff were lovely and accommodating, particularly the chefs who were joking and laughing along with us whilst I was trying my Japanese and mistakenly saying "no one is here" rather than "Thanks for coming"! My family and I had a wonderful time both for the experience, but also the tremendous food which showcased the best of what Kobe beef could be, alongside an array of other well-cooked Japanese ingredients. Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de comer en EN Steakhouse en Kobe, y estoy agradecido de probar la carne Kobe en Kobe. El restaurante tenía ambiente rústico y acogedor con una elegante decoración de madera, le daba una sensación cálida. Tan pronto como nos sentamos, nos recibió un personal amable que estuvo atento durante toda la comida. El servicio fue excelente y nos hizo sentir cómodos y nos cuidó.

Sin embargo, la carne que ordenamos no estaba blanda, y no estábamos seguros de si teníamos expectativas demasiado altas, pero probamos mejor carne de Kobe en otros re staurantes. The restaurant had a cozy, rustic ambiance with elegant wooden décor, giving it a warm and inviting feel. As soon as we were seated, we were welcomed by friendly staff who were attentive throughout the meal. The service was great and the staff made us feel comfortable and taken care of.

However, the steak we ordered lacked tenderness, and we were not sure if we had unreal expectations, but we had better Kobe beef in other restaurants. Although the experience was great, we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the steak. Despite this, the sides and appetizers were well executed and paired well with the steak.

Overall, the steakhouse provided a great experience, but there are other restaurants in the area that offer better value for the quality of steak. Despite the slight letdown with the steak, the welcoming ambiance and excellent service will still make me consider visiting the...
