Saeki — Restaurant in Kobe

A popular place with the locals since the quality of the food is quite high and the prices are very affordable and fair. We went during the lunch time at 11 and as soon as they opened, the restaurant got packed very quickly. The look and feel of the restaurant is also pretty laid back and relaxing and you'll be surrounded by locals who are enjoying the food and chatting, creating a very friendly atmosphere. As for the food, they had two different sets as part of the lunch menu, both very reasonably priced at 880¥ and 1000¥, and we ordered both.The lunch set also came with rice and miso soup and you can choose the size of the rice from small, medium and large. The mix fries set included menchi katsu, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, cream croquet and cabbage salad while the Hamburg set included a hamburg steak, chicken katsu and cabbage salad. Presentation of the food was pleasant and appetizing as evident from the attached pictures and as for the taste, it was a very good although not memorable meal, as is the case with most restaurants which serve Japanese-style western food. Everything was tender, fresh and crispy however the hamburg steak and chicken katsu were a bit bland despite being very tender and juicy. Overall it's a very good restaurant which offers great quality for a cheap price and I'm definitely coming back soon to try the dinner menu and other menu items. 11時開店を目指すも到着が11時14分😓 まだ行列が出来てなかった、と店内に入ると満席。 カウンター1席のみ空いてた、超ラッキー✌️ もう外では並んでました。

ランチメニュー(税込) ●ミックスフライランチ　1,320円 （有頭エビフライ、チキンカツ、ミンチカツ，クリームコロッケ）←1番人気でした。

●クイックランチ　1,210円 （ハンバーグ＆チキンカツ）

●ハンバーグ＆エビフライセット1,760円

届いたら思ってたよりライス中の量が少なかったので大に変更しました。 お忙しいのに対応ありがとうございました、ガォー！(笑)

⚫︎エビフライは驚き！ エビを1本揚げたものではなく、元町の老舗「とんかつ武蔵本店」のエビカツのようにエビの集合体のようなエビフライ◎ エビカツの衣はサクサクとした食感でありながら、しっかりとした歯ごたえ♪ 衣の中には大粒のエビがぎっしり詰まっており、一口食べるとエビの旨みが広がります◎ また、エビの身はぷりっとした食感でありながら、しっとりとした味わいがあります。エビの風味がしっかりと感じられ、まさに絶品と言える味わいです◎ 自家製のタルタルソースが絶妙♪

⚫︎ハンバーグは、外側はちょうど良い焼き目がついていて、中はふんわりとした肉の食感♪ 肉の旨味がしっかりと感じられ、丁寧に調味されたソースとの相性も抜群◎一口食べると、ジューシーで柔らかい肉の食感が口いっぱいに広がります♪特に、ソースの風味がハンバーグに深みを与えていると感じました◎

自家製ドレッシングのサラダや自家製ポテトサラダがそれらを引き立てます◎

感じの良いスタッフさんたちで居心地は良かったです◎

ごちそうさまでした、めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです♪また行きます！
