My family and I were touring Kobe and stumbled upon this restaurant. To be clear, it was 845pm and the restaurant claims to close at 10pm. We politely entered and asked if the restaurant was open after standing at the doorway for almost 10 minutes. We were standing at the entrance where the staff could see us too. When we approached, the staff looked at us and turned away despite us asking nicely several times if they were open. After being ignored for what seemed like forever with the other customers staring curiously too, a staff member finally turned to us and said that they were closed. We thought it was weird and exited but lingered in the vicinity looking for other restaurants to patronize. Not more than 5 minutes later, a couple entered the restaurant and asked if they could be seated. One of the staff members who ignored us readily served them with a beaming smile. Kobe atmostphere was so lively during the day.... In contrast, it was a bit put down by the food stops as we have very few to choose from.
Amongst this, we found the "Korean Kichen Shijan"... which saved our night.... limited choice of food, for a late night on Saturday with not much around - we could not bear another "all you can eat" buffet and we could not bear another heavy Waguy Beef dinner dispite how good this was for us....
So here it is the Korean Kitchen.... Kobe
