【タンメン】 ハナミズキが咲く朝日町通りにある小さな町中華のタンメンがいいのだ。ふと腹が減って色褪せた暖簾をくぐると、そこは時間の流れがどこか緩やかになっている気がする。無口な店主がひとり黙々と鍋をふるう。ワンオペである。妙に似合っている。 丼を前にしてひとくち啜れば「ああ、これだ」と声に出そうになった。野菜がこれでもかと盛られていて、その旨みがスープにやさしく沁みている。味は少し控えめかもしれない。でもこの歳になるとその淡さがちょうどいい。胃袋にも心にも染み入るようなそんな塩梅だ。 色褪せたのれんもまたいい。ふと思い出す。大学の近くにあった頃に餃子を食べに行ったっけ。そういえば、こっちの店ではまだ餃子を食べていない。次はそれも頼んでみようかと思う。 そうそう、味噌ラーメンも旨かった。 美味しかったです。 ごちそうさまでした。
