Kosaku Kofu Station North Entrance — Restaurant in Kofu

I read about this special local dish Hoto and we wanted to try it! We arrived early around 5pm as we had skipped lunch and they were extremely welcoming. So happy we got to savour this! It’s a thick miso-based soup filled with thick soft wide noodles and whatever else you choose. It also comes with pumpkin, carrots, mushrooms and assorted vegetables. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to be amazed by the food nor the atmosphere but at least i get a chance to rate the non-service. The service staff insisted we write in Japanese to place our name on the waiting list despite us explaining we are non Japanese.
