Kappa Sushi — Restaurant in Koshigaya

The menu is impressively large, with something for everyone and covering a lot non-sushi dishes. I don't stray far from my favorites, so I can't say I've tried it all. They have really improved on the range of desserts on offer since I used to go regularly 7 or 8 years ago.

The staff are friendly here and seem to know what they're doing. Almost everything is automated and fairly easy to understand. I ordered via the app and then went to pick up my order without any problems.

I do lament the loss of the 'kaiten' though. Was that a health and safety thing? Business efficiency? Those darn Tik Tokers?

No wasabi on the nigiri will make for less upset kids when parents mess up the...

As stated in other reviews, it could cause some difficulties with larger parties, as the food may come out staggered. However, the food does arrive very quickly, so it should make up for it. Since arrives so quickly, the taste is fresh and not dried out, as with what happens with many kaiten sushi restaurants. And considering the quality of sushi back in the states, this place is miles ahead. Is it the best in Japan? Definitely not. But, way better than most...
