Super middle ground..nothing was bad but nothing was great. Sashimi was nice, but insanely expensive. Karashi renkon was good but insanely expensive. Beer service was fast. So that's nice I guess. But when our ordering tablet was broken our waitress talked to me like I was an idiot. In a rude tone she said you have have to wait ten seconds. I said yeah I know, it been ten minutes. She then spent ten more minutes fixing with out apologizing for treating me like an idiot. And I'm speaking to her in Japanese. We ordered a decently priced mixed dish of of yakitori, and it was the most mediocre yakitori I've had in Kumamoto.
It was a busy weekend. So Im glad we got dinner reservations somewhere, but I would never willingly come back here again. Far too many better izakayas...
