Disappointing... Both service and food. Considering this is Japan, this was truly unexpected.

Usher was rude to customers who were trying to figure out how to use the queue ticketing machine. Unhelpfully rushing them when there was no one waiting behind them. Thankfully I had Google translate ready so I didn't have to be rushed as much.

Personally, they messed up my orders after waiting for an hr or so. Upon confirming the order was wrong after much debate, they gave us a portion which still has red blood on their signature korobuta loin. (not the usual pink/white on meat). Upon feeding back, they took it back to CUT ONLY that portion off and re-served it to us. We enquired if it could be cooked more throughly. They said in it's current state, it was okay to eat. We didn't eat it. A proper restaurant would have made a new order for customers.

Manager (in suit) was nonchalent and just directed his staff to us when we had the issue mentioned above.

I believe the source of meat is good and would have tasted great. It's the people of this store that failed the korobuta.

Will update with pictures later when I have the time. But if I can give -5 stars for my experience, I would. Maybe they just can't handle the crowd. My friends had a decent meal here...

The public has spoken. After 2000+ 5-star reviews, I have to grant them another one.

I had the black pork cutlet, but if I was hungrier I would've added on some breaded shrimp for 800¥ more. Price for their signature plate was 3000¥. The quality of the food for the price is spot on. They'll refill your side dishes if you ask.

The entire wait staff greeted and served with the utmost professionalism. Almost robotic to a point. You can tell they're very well trained. It was truly a Japanese service experience.

I like restaurants like these because they have a smaller menu and really put their efforts in the quality and experience of the customer. The taste was incredible. I haven't had a pork cutlet like that in my entire life. What's typical, I guess, is that the meat is flattened purposefully to give it a more pancake-like size and texture. To be honest, I'm not sure how they can make it so thick and juicy yet not overly oily.

The restaurant was not crowded and had plenty of seating for small and large parties alike. They have English menus available for us 外人s. 10/10 best pork cutlet experience I've...

If you hate yourself, this is the perfect place for you. I decided to treat myself to a 4000 yen pork loin set on a weekday night after a wonderful trip, and it single-handedly ruined my day.

Everything appeared fine until I took that first bite. The chefs there achieved the impossible: the pork chops were both very dry and very fatty at the same time. They were so isolated from each other that I half-expected them to develop their own language. Utterly unappetizing.

Then there was the sauce, a truly sodium tornado. Instead of a thoughtful single sauce, I was presented with an overwhelmingly many options, as if the restaurant was desperate to please everyone rather than focusing on a perfect combination they found the best.

As I sat there, it became painfully clear that the restaurant was filled with customers who didn’t speak Japanese, further confirming my suspicion that this is a classic tourist trap. Not to mention we wasted an hour for a table for two.

If you value your happy days, avoid this place at all costs. You can easily find much better alternatives for half the...

The tonkatsu pork chop is good here, but always a long queue and also if you ask for the Japanese menu, the price is a little cheaper than the English menu. When I asked to see the menu while waiting, the manager said no because "everyone would want to see the menu too", which I thought was a bizarre response. Then when I pressed him in Japanese asking why wouldn't the customer be allowed to see the restaurant menu while waiting, he tried to push back but eventually relented hesitantly. Once I was seated, we ordered and I asked to keep the Japanese menu, and again the waitress behaved strangely and tried to take it away even though I said I wanted to keep it. So I asked directly if the Japanese menu prices are different and that is why all the staff I've encountered behaved unusually, she admitted it was 220 yen cheaper on a 2000 yen meal and I would get the local price. Just a simple suggestion to the owner of the restaurant - Maybe just increase the price evenly across the board for everyone, so that your staff don't need to be sneaky like they are stealing from foreign customers?
