SUGANOYA Ginza Street Store — Restaurant in Kumamoto

At first, I was very sceptical and strongly appalled with the idea of eating horse meat, not to mention raw. However, I would say it is a mind blowing experience that you should try here at Suganoya Ginza Street Store. It is out of the moon!

I had the sushi set and it was exceptionally delicious . The meat was so fresh that there was no smell at all. I am very sensitive to smell and was worried that it is of a peculiar taste.

The standard set does not do justice on how good it can be so, I strongly recommend the Sushi Set for lunch. For the price I think it is totally worth it. I would definitely come back again at this particular branch.

Horse sashimi is a regional delicacy here in Kumamoto. There are many restaurants that serve horse sashimi here but we decided to eat here mostly because we did not reserve in advanced at other popular places and this was not full. Marvelous & very delicious Horse steak & Kaiseok cuisine in Kumamoto. A Taiwanese commented that he would fly from Taiwan to come here to have a horse steak in the review. I was sold & cane over to try it as well. Indeed, the horse steak was prepared & cooked perfectly to let you fully enjoyed in many ways.
