Mom and I are vegetarians and just had an amazing meal at Pizzeria Bencotta!!! We arrived as it opened at 5 pm and had a refreshing glass of white wine that came with the most fun-to-crunch salt and peppered fried spaghetti noodles. We poked them into the olive appetizer. Then came the freshest and most delightful arugula and mushroom salad with balsamic dressing. Next was a mushroom and garlic pizza that chef (also waiter) made in front of us!! It was perfection!!! The food was very good. The pizza was properly cooked and the dough was nice. The salad was also very good. Prices were higher than usual but it can be explained by the proximity to the tourist area and by the quality of the food. The issue was that both the chef and the waitress were rude. They looked angry and as if they hated each other. It could have been a 5 stars if they had a better attitude, maybe we caught them...
