I found out about Shigeichi from a youtuber, who goes by the name Miki from Japan, and decided to visit when visiting Okayama.
Whrn we arrive there, a couple ahead of us had made reservations, and was uncertain if we would get in, but since it was not busy and we came early for lunch we were seated straight away. We were informed about the lunch time menu and ww ordered the chirashi sushi box set, which came with appetisers and dessert and the main dish the 'hidden' chirashi sushi box. The sushi is hidden as it isn't visible until you flip the box around and removed the cover and voila! This sushi set menu did not disappoint from the appetizers, including the prawn and vegetable tempura, the variety sushi and vegetables from chirashi sushi to the red bean paste on top of vanilla ice cream, which I liked very much! The sake was delicious and easy going. The service was inviting, friendly, helpful and attentive.
