I ordered 1 pizza and 1 chicken combo. After the payment, I was told there they cannot make it Togo order. I ask if I can cancel and get refund, staff said no. Make sense I should have ask first. Then I ask if they can put pizza in a separate paper box, they laughed at me. And said no. Then they ask me to put the pizza in the same paper box as crispy chicken. The reason I order food is I have a toddler and it’s very hard to get him out at 6pm in -6C. I was very polite and said sorry for the trouble several times. But it was clearly they were laughing at me several times in Japanese. It’s not funny to laugh at a customer who did nothing wrong and there should be a sign there say NO TAKE OUT. It was a Japanese formal chef and male chef. I hope the management see this and ask them to stop this kind of behavior. But I guess I should have known it since it’s a 3.8 star rating cafe. IMO, it should have...

By Japanese standards, this is a luxury ski resort restaurant. It looks fresh and that's a lot better than everything else I have experienced in this region. Still, in the eyes of a European, this place remains just a big canteen. It was the place where I thought for once to deviate from the Japanese dishes and just have a hamburger. I shouldn't have done that. The hamburger was disturbingly bad. It looked more like a cat food sandwich, and I don't remember getting anything like that before in my life. I suspect that the cook here really does not know how this dish should taste / be prepared and therefore I can only give 1 star. If you're going to eat here at least avoid the hamburger (although now I also question the pasta bolognese).

The cakes that were served at the coffee corner were very tasty. I recommend...

Taking into account, what I am hoping it will transform to be, I will be lenient and give it 4 stars for now, but it is still really 3 stars.

GREAT: Ambience Design Openness Cleanliness Location Warmth

SATISFACTORY: Food price Service

POOR: Lack of drink choices Que line is confusing Menu display design lacks taste Hamburger is very boring Japanese Lack of ski/snowboard racks Does not accept PayPay payment

The most use case is “eating”, but we do not travel to Niseko just to get stuffed. It’s to enjoy the taste while spending time relaxing with friends. The menu and how the dishes are prepared has not entirely escaped the school lunch operation mentality. They should have a sufficient back end to improve, to tweak the food arrangement appearance and taste. Good luck, I have high...

A modern ski restaurant at the base of Hanazono - amenities felt new / were terrific, lots of food options, but it’s a madhouse with aggro famished foreign families during peak times which need to be avoided (11:30-1:30pm) to preserve a zen state of mind. Coffee and self-service were solid. Pork katsu curry was just ok - it’s not the Rusutsu pork katsu curry but I was thankful for the option. There’s free WiFi but tough reception to make outgoing calls

Low quality ingredients. Immediately identified unhealthy trans fat margarine spread on the hamburger buns. I asked the manager about it. He lied and said it was butter. After asking in fluent Japanese 3 times he finally admitted it wasn't butter and was transfat chemicals. He got mad at me. For the prices and high end location next to the park Hyatt the gap in quality is massive. They need to step up their game. The managers name is Nakai san
