A hidden gem in Tokyo for a traditional Japanese lunch. Elegant, clean, with counter seating and a few tables. The set lunch comes in three variations, with a main and tasty side dishes. Great value for money. The chef speaks some English, so communication is easy. Highly recommended!

今日は京都で晩ごはん。京都祇園の割烹“千花”で20年以上修行された村上さんが2月に“ごはんや村上”を開店されました。お昼は豆皿定食と一汁三菜で営業されてみえます。夜は予約をすると5,000円のお任せのコースに加えて目移りするアラカルトメニューが有ります。お味は千花さんで修行をされただけあって間違いありません。予約をして5,000円のコースに追加でゆば焼売をいただきました。祇園や八坂神社から徒歩圏内で、このお値段でこのお料理がいただけるのはお得過ぎます！追記前回いただいた晩ごはんが良かったので再訪です。結論から言うと最高のお店です。 6時半の予約でうかがうと2名づつの先客が２組みえました。6時から入店されてアラカルトで注文され、数品のお料理とお食事を楽しまれていました。私は予約でコースをいただきました。先ずはお盆に乗ったお料理が　ごま豆腐、あわびの酒蒸し、なす、魚の南蛮漬け、エビとアスパラガスこれだけでいくらでも飲めそうです。続いては　ホタルイカと菜の花の春巻きなめろう風のホタルイカが春を感じます、これは日本酒にですね。お造りは　タイ、鮪、鰆少し炙った鰆がねっとり美味しいです。目の前で巻かれた　だし巻きふわふわで味が主張しすぎない優しい美味しさ。焼き物は　まながつお炭火で丁寧に焼かれた焼き物、脂も乗っていますが焦げ目もありません。酢の物は　トマトこれでさっぱりお口の中がリセットされます。〆のご飯　しば漬と大葉の炒飯修行先の千花さんの名物である“しば漬と大葉の飯蒸し”を発展させた〆の逸品です！最後にデザートをいただき、大満足の晩ごはんでした。また必ずうかがいます。
