I'm from SoCal and as a teenager briefly lived in the OC, not too far from where the largest Vietnamese community outside of Vietnam resides in Westminster. The most well known Bánh Mì comes from Lee's Sandwiches, which is a chain that has become ubiquitous to the SoCal fast food scene. 120g Bánh Mì Kyoto is unquestionably the most delicious Bánh Mì that I've ever eaten. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small, but there's always the option...
