Super charming little place! I originally saw it online and the assortment of dangos made me want to visit. We got lucky and happened to be able to sit outside on the traditional seats to enjoy the dango and drink the tea. The set of 7 dango types is the perfect little snack for two people. For one, I think it might fill you up quite a bit! The flavors apparently also change seasonally so what we got was a little different from what I saw online, but trying all the flavors was tons of fun!

We went to this tea house specifically to seek out the dango. It was lovely and easy to find on the grounds of Yasaka Shrine. The whole area was quite open and lovely with lots of seating and several drink options. I ordered the dango sampler and my husband ordered the lemon shaved ice. Tasty dango but horrible rude service. We were a group of 4 and we ordered 1 large order of dango (6 pcs). After we sat down at ONE table, they insisted we must order a plate per person if we wanted to sit. We were using a small table for 2 and squeezing in. I’m not sure why we needed to ordered 1 per!
