It was an unassuming shop along the road but what caught our eyes was how the menu was very simple when we came. There were only the option of the sesame miso or the lemon scented shoyu noodles. We decided to pop in to take a look and the food was very yummy! The portion was just right with a blend of various vegetables (spring onions, onions, bamboo shoots, capsicum) and steamed chicken. The shop faces an amazing view of the leaves and the river as you dine in. It’s a small shop that accommodates maximum 10 pax and the tables are arranged in twos. Definitely a must try if you’re around the area!! 💯

Visited on a weekday afternoon after a hike from kurama to kibune. It’s situated up a gentle slope on the right instead of the left as shown on google maps. It’s a one man show, so food will take time to come. But it’s definitely worth the wait. The lemon shoyu ramen was super tangy and flavourful yet light too. The meat was super tender and noodles were springy. Overall definitely a gem, dine with a view and worth a try.

Small place run by a single person. Noodles were excellent, but the real star was the soup and the vegetables. Very interesting tastes and combinations and the dishes are simply beautiful. Place itself is a little run down, but don't let the looks fool you, the food is amazing, and you can sit right next to a window looking at the river. Highly recommended.
