Best fishes dishes! Don't miss trying out this place if you're in Kyoto. Small little shop run by 2 lovely ladies, barely speak English, but they try to serve you their best. The deep fried fishes and their tuna rice bowl is unbelievably delicious. Fresh cut, fresh cook, and fast serving! I notice their rice is superb!!! I give them a 5 Stars on food and service, except that the cook is inside the house which probably smell you, but it worth it I'm...

This was one of our favourite restaurants while staying in Kyoto! You can only get fish-based dishes here. We got the salmon steak, and it was absolutely delicious, and for a very cheap price. One of the owners took her time to explain the menu to us as best as possible, which was very sweet of her. I highly recommend...

Lovely lady took me in, gave me an English menu and then served me the best fish I had in my whole two weeks in Japan! Lady was very sweet and tried her best to chat with me, and offered me an Umbrella as it started to snow

『鱈の煮付け定食』1000円 近所のおばちゃん達が数人で切盛りされてるお店。良いですよね こういうアットホームな雰囲気で頂く手料理って、ふと実家の母親を思い出して胸がほっこりするような‥ 独り暮らしの独身男性にとっては正にオアシスのようなお店です。普段、魚料理を食べる頻度も割と少ないですし、たまには体を気遣って家庭的な優しい味付けの手料理が食べたくなるんですよね。こちらでは定番(人気)の鮪カツや鮪ステーキをはじめ、その日によって提供の異なる数種の魚の中からお好みの調理法を選べる定食などなど 魚好きには大変嬉しいメニューが豊富に揃っておりまして、毎日通っても飽きる事のないように工夫されてます。あと、メインの他にも幾つかの小鉢が付いてて見た目にも華やかだし どれも気取らない素朴な味付けで 何となく健康になった気分になれるのも魅了のひとつ。いやはや、日頃の乱れた食生活を見直す良い機会ですよ ホントに‥。SNS投稿ありきの健康面をガン無視した過剰なカロリーモンスター(映え飯)が持て囃される昨今、こういう本当の意味での “美味しい料理” を提供してくれるお店は とても貴重ですよね。贅沢を言えば、あともう少しコスパが良いと有難いなぁ‥ なんて思ったりもするけれど、まぁ 魚料理って基本的にお高いですしね、それに 鱈の煮付けなんて普段滅多に出逢わない料理を頂けた上に “健康” を買ったと思えば むしろ安い方ですよ。また機会があれば是非とも再訪したいと思います。ご馳走さまでした。
