The Ramen was good, but there wasn't a real depth to the taste, mainly spiciness. Spiciness was on a good level. They have an english menu and speak very good English themselves in case you need that. The ambiente is more like a pub or street food vendor. It's not bad but rather dirty, loud, and cheap. The price value for the food is pretty good. The toilet also reminded me of a shady night club in a big city.

The Szechuan ramen, the fried rice, the gyosa and the miso soup are very good. We went there on our first night in Kyoto, recommended by a local. The food is exquisite and the owner can speak English and is kind. And cherry on the cake, prices are cheap ! We came back another time on our last night because we couldn’t leave without having this dish again!

Both Ramen we had were so delicious. We arrived into Kyoto late and this restaurant was still open. Said the owner and chef was so accommodating to us, he speaks a little bit of English. We also returned a second time and had cashew chicken and dumpling soup, sooooo good! Highly reccomend to come to this place for ramen, or anything else!

Second night in Kyoto, cold day, wanted ramen. Found this place 8 minutes from our Airbnb, did not disappoint. Great meal, got the large spicy ramen and a plate of sweet and sour meat balls. Flavorful broth, coulda been a tad spicier in my opinion. But to each their own. The owner and cook was extremely nice, and spoke some pretty good English as well. The craziest part is the prices - 1400 yen per person including several sodas and sharing the sweet and sour meatballs. Amazing place with...

A sensational experience! The Spring Onion Ramen, as well as the Sichuan Ramen, are something you have to try. Also, the tofu with Sichuan Sauce is an absolute delight and flavorful dish. Bring some appetite as the portions are big and delicious. Don't get fooled by the interior. The food is absolutely fantastic.

An absolute highlight when it...
