It is very fresh and delicious and well presented. Do not be fooled by its simplicity. Young gentleman who is opened and friendly and know fishes well. Must admit I was impressed that he noticed that he could have prepared setting for a lefty. Alas, felt like I am in a gorgeous restaurant to be noted.
Seasonal fishes and seafood like shellfish, lobster, octopus, iwagaki (large oyster) will be hidden menu.
We bumped into season for habanori, apparently a special nori (seaweed) that is packed. We'll be looking forward to that.
Probably limited to Japanese in communication but you'll be able to enjoy a nice osashimi bowl rice or yaki zakana set or nii zakana set.
Went back again a few days on our way back, having placed an order for ise ebi (Japanese lobster,) and awabi - as would be available. Another fabulous lunch set again. This time, there is large kin me dai (red snapper) in soyu base. Also got to try utsubo (moray eel) sashimi, kawahagi (thread sail filefish) and its kimo (liver). 2025.9.11初訪問 琴ヶ浜でシュノーケル後の13時前着 平日なので空いてると思いきや地元の方々数人おられました 店主さん出掛けてるからお茶でも飲んで待っててとおばあちゃんにお茶を入れてもらいしばし待つと帰って来ました 刺身定食か地魚丼か考えていたところ地魚嫌いじゃ無ければ美味しいとのことで地魚丼にします 切り身をご飯に乗せるだけなので直ぐ出て来ました 魚の種類は特に説明有りませんが普通に美味しい刺身です 地元の方々の憩いの場になっているので親しまれているんだと思います お客さんとして行くのでは無く田舎の家に来たと思えば良い...
