"I had heard about this wonderful French restaurant in Matsumoto, but its distance from Matsumoto Station had always deterred me from visiting. Today, I finally made it happen by inviting a friend who owns a car. Provence no Nichiyobi" (Provence on Sunday), nestled quietly in a residential area on a hill, turned out to be an unforgettable and special restaurant. The interior had a calming atmosphere, and the view from the window was breathtaking (you can see the Northern Alps in their entirety), making me feel as if I were in a rural European town. I ordered the full-course lunch, and each dish was meticulously prepared using fresh ingredients carefully selected by the chef. The dishes featuring locally sourced vegetables were particularly outstanding, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients to their fullest. The mushrooms were hand-picked by the owner-chef himself from the mountains, and to me, they were even more appealing than matsutake mushrooms. From the appetizers to the desserts, all the dishes were beautifully presented, making them a feast for the eyes as well. The restaurant had a clean and bright atmosphere, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a casual and fun way. The staff's service was also very attentive and warm. The chef himself went around the tables to explain the dishes, conveying his passion and dedication. I felt their genuine care for each customer, making it a truly special experience. Today, I visited for lunch, but I imagine the night view during dinner would be lovely, perfect for a romantic evening. I was completely satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. 昨年からこのお店を知り、毎月のご褒美にランチを利用しています。季節の食材を使ったランチコースは前菜から絶品です。メインも豊富に選べ、デザートまで付いてこのお値段で本格フレンチが食べられる、コスパ◎です。 特に気に入っているのは、珈琲豆が毎月変わること。珈琲好きなので、毎月味の変わる珈琲を求めて立ち寄ってしまいます。アルプスを眺めながら美味しい珈琲で食事を終える。贅沢なひととき。いつもごちそうさまです。

子供を連れて行って「世の中にはこんなに美味しい料理があるんだよ。」と教えたいお店。

２月下旬のランチでしたが、ふきのとうのスープ、松本一本ネギのムース、天然ヒラタケのパスタなど地元の食材の魅力を十二分に発揮したメニューに驚き、メインのハンバーグも絶品でした。

オーソドックな味わいの中に、きらりと光る工夫があり、後味が次の料理に響かず、これでコース料理を食べると…。と思わせる味でした。
