【3rd visit】 Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying the "Rich Seafood Bouillabaisse," a dish that truly captures the essence of the season. The moment it arrived, the enticing aroma of seafood filled the air, heightening my anticipation. With the first spoonful, my palate was greeted by an explosion of flavors from the freshest catches of the sea – sea bream, flounder, scallops, shrimp, and squid. The vegetables, including broccoli and potatoes, had absorbed the rich broth, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes that left me in awe. The depth of flavor was captivating, keeping me engaged until the very last drop. It was a moment of pure bliss, a dish that warmed both body and soul. For dessert, I opted for the visually stunning crème brûlée and chestnut ice cream. Cracking the crisp caramel layer with my spoon revealed a velvety custard cream, studded with delicate chestnut pieces. The combination of the chestnut-infused custard and the chestnut ice cream was a match made in heaven. The elegant sweetness brought a smile to my face. And of course, the warm hospitality of Madame, the owner, is another highlight of this establishment. Her consistently attentive service truly soothes the soul. Thanks to the delicious cuisine and wonderful service, I had another delightful experience today. I will definitely be returning for more.
【2nd visit】 Last time I had the small course, so this time I went for the set meal. For 1800 yen, I got 3 types of vegetable appetizers, a salad, vegetable soup, a hearty hamburger steak filled with egg and cheese, bread or barley rice, and a drink. It's a lot of food, and everything is carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. It was a truly delightful lunch. I also ordered the pineapple compote for dessert. The refreshing pineapple paired with coconut ice cream was the perfect way to beat the summer heat.
【1st visit】 Hana France Shokudo Yamamoto is a true hidden gem! The food is authentic French cuisine, but the restaurant itself has the charm of a cute local diner. Currently, they're only open for lunch, and you'll want to come hungry because the portions are generous. Every dish the chef prepares is bursting with delicate and complex flavors. I ordered the petit course, which allows you to choose your main dish, and I was impressed with every single element. The course includes an appetizer platter, quiche, green salad, soup, my chosen main, a dessert assortment, and a drink. I opted for the sauteed sea bream (with almonds and a sherry vinegar brown butter sauce), and it was pure satisfaction. The skin was crispy and fragrant, the flesh was tender, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. The service, led by the Madame, is warm and welcoming, leaving me feeling happy and content in both body and soul. I can confidently recommend this restaurant to my friends.
