If you need a sweet break, this can be an excellent option at Dogo Onsen shopping street. The store has a few pudding choices, yet I’d recommend the Dogo Puring the most (Pudding is, for some reason, being pronounced as Puring), which contains mikan (Japanese mandarin orange) and caramel syrupy stuff at the bottom. The Dogo Pudding that comes with a whole Mikan in it was pretty good, but my personal favorite was Showa pudding which is more solid and not unique to the area. You can probably find a similar pudding anywhere...
