If you need a sweet break, this can be an excellent option at Dogo Onsen shopping street. The store has a few pudding choices, yet I’d recommend the Dogo Puring the most (Pudding is, for some reason, being pronounced as Puring), which contains mikan (Japanese mandarin orange) and caramel syrupy stuff at the bottom. Not too sweet, but sweet enough - the delicate balance, I think, creates the feeling of smooth relaxation out of your casual, yet tiring, walk. ...

It's a bit expensive for pudding but you can take the glass container home with you so I think it's worth it. We tried the retro pudding and the orange one. Give it a try if you're a fan of this dessert 😋👍
