Please be aware that unrequested items brought to your table are not complimentary; they will be charged without breakdown or any explanation. As we walked-in they immediately pushed for the omakase menu. However, considering that this is a neighborhood eatery, we opted for a simpler choice. We ordered two set menus (¥1,500 + ¥1,000) and two drinks (¥600 each). However, two appetizers were brought to our table without the option to decline or any explanation provided. Additionally, the owner brought two small cups of sake for a toast, again without explanation. Sadly, the food was bland and not fresh. We went as a family and we all loved ths restaurant. It is cozy and has a typical Japanese design with lots of wood, tatami, a bar and a couple of "low" tables with a pit for your feet.
