This was one of the obvious choices because it was near the station. It was mended by a girlie-voiced lady staff in a simple eatery. Cold tea was served.

The best seller mix tuna don was delicious and consisted of many parts of a Maguro. The rice bowl was over filling with raw Tuna parts with a single slab of squid. The accompanying miso soup played a big part to the culinary experience. It balanced the more bland tasting donburi with the impactful miso savoury. Delicious.

Owner was very friendly and provided english menu. Ordered a tuna bowl gor 1000 yen and mixed bowl for 1500 yen which are very worthwhile. Portion is huge and filling and taste is ok. 和歌山県那智勝浦町、紀伊勝浦漁港やJR紀伊勝浦駅から近い場所にある「お食事処 山賀」で食事をしました。那智勝浦は生マグロが有名な町なので期待していたのですが、正直なところまぐろもクジラも臭いと感じてしまい、どこが新鮮やねん、というのが私の率直な感想です。 お店に入ると、壁には有名芸能人のサイン色紙がペタペタと貼られており、店主からは熱心にミックス丼（1,500円）を勧められました。私はミックス丼を注文しましたが、まず驚いたのはその丼のサイズです。どう見ても丼というより子供茶碗くらいの大きさで、ご飯の量も非常に少なく感じました。大盛りを頼んだとしても、ほんの少ししか増量されないようです。 ミックス丼の中身はマグロやイカの切り身でしたが、マグロは色が悪いと感じましたし、ネギトロでかさ増しされている点も納得がいきませんでした。これで1,500円というのは、観光地価格を通り越してボッタクリだと感じます。正直、300円でも微妙なレベルです。食べ終わった後に、全く満たされず、また別の食事に行く羽目になりました。 特にがっかりしたのは、一緒に頼んだクジラのベーコンです。半解凍状態で提供されたため、氷を食べているみたいでした。また、カウンターの上にマグロのブロックが素のまま置かれていたのも、衛生的にどうなのかと疑問に感じました。 もちろん、ワンオペで切り盛りされているようで、都会のサービスを求めるのは検討違いかもしれませんが、この品質と量でこの値段はコスパが非常に悪いと言わざるを得ません。 マグロの切り身自体は大きめだったという意見もありますが、全体として味も量も残念で、「世界最高のマグロがすぐそばにあるのに、なぜ質の低いマグロを出すのか」という、地元の評判を考えると非常に残念な結果でした。私自身、二度と行くことはないと思います。これなら、徒歩5分の勝浦漁港で刺身を買った方が、よほど美味しく安く済ませられるでしょう。
