I was surprised to find a Korean BBQ restaurant in Nagano offering quite authentic Korean cuisine. The only difference was the use of Japanese ingredients, such as Shigenoya beef, which is bred in Nagoya and said to be fed with apples. I didn’t try the beef myself as I don't eat it, but I did enjoy other meats like chicken and pork, which are also bred in Nagano with special diets. The restaurant was quiet when we visited, and we were given a private room to enjoy our meal. The decor was woody and cozy. However, the service could have been more flexible. We had reserved for six people, but since I don’t eat beef, I asked if they could provide different meats for me. Instead, they served me the same amount of meat intended for five people. It's Korean BBQ style restaurant, meaning you order through a tablet (English available) and they will deliver it to your cubicle and then you cook it on your own using the grill.
