Lydian Turkish Mediterranean Kitchen — Restaurant in Nagano

My family was so excited to find halal food here, and the kebabs did not disappoint! We grabbed a quick bite while waiting for our 12:30 PM bus, and wow, the flavors were amazing! The chicken was so tender and juicy, and the spices and sauces were just perfect. We all kept saying we wished we had more time to go for seconds!

The place has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the lovely family running it made us feel right at home. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Turkish food in Nagano.

If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll be coming...

Wanted to try a Turkish restaurant, and more than the food, we really enjoyed the hospitality. Since I am Turkish and know the food, I can comfortably say that the lamb şiş was tasty! It’s a great alternative protein for those wanting to try something different. Yes, it can be pricey, but that’s expected since lamb isn’t common in Japan.

I really enjoyed the pilaki, which was very close to what you’d find in Türkiye. And as for the hummus… it was delicious! 🤩
