Very quaint coffee and sandwich shop with an unassuming exterior. The owner was very friendly and put up with my less than flattering attempts at Japanese. The menu was in a style of handwritten Japanese and was hard to make out with a small knowledge of the language so I ended up just asking for his recommendation on a sandwich and iced coffee. Both were delicious and the price for the meal was very reasonable. The classical music and the aesthetic of the shop was calming and I really enjoyed it.
Overall, I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone, the owner is very kind and patient. However for an easier process it would be helpful to know at least some Japanese...
Read moreThe owner is very friendly. I had a hard time translating the Shodo menu, so I asked for iced coffee and a roast sandwich with picture from Google. I got the iced coffee, but no cream, it was very dark. The roast sandwich the beef was cold, and I didn't really care for the sauce.
Overall the cost performance for the two items was 1050 JPY.
