The dishes quality are definitely amazed me. We had 3 appetisers, 2 main course, 2 soup and 2 deserts. Also, a white grape wine.
We ordered some very classic cold meat, baked cheese with toast. The ingredients can be tasted fresh. My friend even felt there’s wine flavour in the meat.
The main course are spaghetti and pizza, simple ingredients but well prepared. The flavour is balanced, excellent.
Soup is somehow surprising me. A “cornful”and strong flavour of corn soup that can taste the actual corn, with a non-expensive price (500-800yen). However, the owner forgot the other seafood soup we ordered. (It whatever, cause we’re already full.)
Finally, the deserts are some decent ice cream with yogurt, and pancakes. Very unique tasting experience and flavour. It can be understood the technique and time that the chef has spent to learn.
There are quite a variety of wine so feel free to find yours.
The seat are very comfortable and the owner is very kind. Hope there will be English or Chinese menu cause the dishes are more suitable for western and people who love western.
Overall, would definitely come...
Read moreI discovered this Italian restaurant after many weeks in Nagasaki. I come from a very Italian area near South Philadelphia. So I know and love Italian food. I never dreamed I would find any in Japan (not talking pizza here). The menu was all in Japanese and nobody there spoke English. But we managed. First, out came perfectly warmed, crusty Italian bread and extra virgin olive oil seasoned for dipping. Then came pasta, perfectly al dente, with a gravy as good as any I have ever had. Every course was perfect, as if it had come right from the family kitchen of my favorite Italian restaurant back home. I had found a rare gem. It brought tears to my eyes. Nobody in my group believed me until they came with me and tried it for themselves. Needless to say, we were all frequent guests. I met the chef and asked him how he had learned to cook Italian so well. He had never been anywhere outside of Nagasaki. It's a mystery. But you'll love his...
Read moreVisiting from Australia and surprised to find such a great Italian restaurant in Nagasaki. We had the onion soup, caprese salad , salami and prosciutto for starter followed by bream and spaghetti carbonara. Pasta was perfectly cooked. One of the best I have had outside of Italy. We were fighting over the Bream and its sauce . Amazing. Could not fault any meal nor the wine. No English menu but got through it with the help of a translation...
