Kitchen Masa — Restaurant in Nagasaki

Before this, Nagasaki was honestly a huge disappointment as far as my palate is concerned. The ubiquitous "champon", Nagasaki's signature dish that was lauded by so many reviewers was way too underwhelming for me to even worth mentioning. Their Chinatown was appalling, and so is the Chinese good available. They are nowhere near the standard of Chinese food in terms of taste and authenticity. Luckily, I stumbled upon this place in the vicinity after finding out that the yakitori restaurant I had in mind was not yet open for business. And what a find! Huge servings, fried food, unhealthy and greasy - not for everyone of course but on a rainy and bitterly cold day in Nagasaki, this place was a godsend!!! Check out their giant fried chicken...

The front house staff was a little impatient as he know I am a tourist. I got in and it was my mistake which I didn't see the ordering machine outside. Seems like I need to order outside and get the ticket first before getting in. He showed me the machine but his expression looks absolutely impatient.

I was having a lot of stress after eating there. Quite unpleasant, dispite all there the food was good. Portion was huge chicken too much...

Very cosy eatery. We dont speak Japanese but it is no problem to dine here. 1. Get q ticket from the machine outside. You can correspond the meal number on machine with the photos beside 2. Pass the ticket to the propriertor. 3. Sit down and wait. The rice is a lot if you dont take a lot of carbo, request for reduce portion. Food is good like...
