Before this, Nagasaki was honestly a huge disappointment as far as my palate is concerned. The ubiquitous "champon", Nagasaki's signature dish that was lauded by so many reviewers was way too underwhelming for me to even worth mentioning. Their Chinatown was appalling, and so is the Chinese good available. They are nowhere near the standard of Chinese food in terms of taste and authenticity. Luckily, I stumbled upon this place in the vicinity after finding out that the yakitori restaurant I had in mind was not yet open for business. And what a find!
