Have walked past this shop almost everyday for the last 20 years and really thought much of it but that’s all changed. Before it was smoking acceptable which turned me off from visiting but once the new laws kicked in restricting smoking I noticed it become a brighter and more inviting place. The decor and layout remind me of the coffee shops or cafes my grandparents would visit so it has a very nostalgic feel. I ordered the Kilimanjaro coffee and it was bright and smooth. I didn’t have a chance to try the original blend but will definitely try next time. My partner ordered a ham sandwich which looked quite good in terms of a good toast and presentation but the ham amount and quality should have been a bit better being it’s a cafe and not home as the quality was like basic max value supermarket brand.
