I happened to pass by this newly opened restaurant and entered without any particular purpose. The food was just as excellent as the decor. Especially the hummus with grilled sweet corn as appetizer, it was so good.
I heard the restaurant was playing songs by Kokoroko, one after another. I wanted to stay a bit longer because it felt like they were playing my personal playlist. (I just love Kokoroko)
So, I ordered another dessert, Baklava. This nut-filled pastry is commonly found in Turkish cuisine, but here it was served with Turkish tea ice cream, which made for a truly delightful combination.
It’s a pity that I couldn’t try the Octopus Tagine today, (it was sold out) but I’ll save that as something to look forward to next time. I’d love to come back with friends to enjoy it together.

Unfortunately, when I ordered a Shirley Temple….the cup was cracked. When I was drinking it, I thought the flavor was delicious but it cut the side of my mouth. I showed this to the staff but the just said sorry and moved on. They even took the drink away when I was not fully done eating the Pomegranate seed that was in the drink. I thought maybe they would bring one more but again…they had moved on.
I’m sorry but a simple apology after cutting my mouth isn’t something that I expected from a fancy restaurant as this. Please do better, at least turn on the lights and use other cups that...
