Me and my family have stayed at The B Hotel Nagoya multiple times and always loved its convenience. We even recommend it to close friends and relatives. However, my recent visit (Feb 20-22 & Feb 24-27) was so disappointing due to service inconsistencies and questionable treatment by Mr. Yusuke Ishikawa||1. Housekeeping Issues – Room had visible dirt under the bed and even a stray pubic hair inside the toilet. While I chose not to report it at the time, expecting it to be an isolated oversight, I now feel compelled to mention it given the overall experience of my stay.||2. Inconsistent Service – During my first stay, I was easily given an extra key, but on Feb 24, front desk staff, Yusuke Ichikawa, refused, speaking to me in a hostile manner. I travel alone with my child, and my uncle and sister, staying in a nearby APA hotel, were just assisting with our luggage — his reaction felt unnecessary and to be honest borderline racism because when my uncle began speaking to him in Japanese, he suddenly changed his tone but still refused to provide us with an extra key card (such a very minor request if you ask me)||3. Offensive Accusations – When I later questioned the inconsistent key policy, another staff member wrongfully claimed that having visitors in my room (not staying just visiting) was illegal under "Japanese criminal law" — which is simply untrue and to be honest, a claim that's so uncalled for.||This experience felt discriminatory, considering other guests had visitors without issue. While I previously enjoyed this hotel, this treatment made me feel unwelcome and unfairly singled out. Management needs to ensure consistent policies and respectful service for all guests regardless of nationality.||Would not recommend unless these issues are...

Read moreThe location is very good, though we did have a hard time finding for the first time, thanks to the Google Map directions. After which we found out it is near the subway and have many departmental stores, supermarkets and eateries around the area. There are 3 convenient stores near the hotel too. Oasis 21 can be reached by foot, if you don't mind walking, like we did.||The hotel is the only one which offered us complementary coffee with an espresso machine at the lobby, among all that we had stayed this trip. They even provide paper cups with cover which you could take away to your room or bring along while you are out. It also offered 2 lab tops at the lobby for you to use, except the default language is Japanese which is a little troublesome for us.||The staff were helpful when you asked them for information, except they were all not smiling liked others we met elsewhere. So let you feel that they are more like on duty but not with enthusiasm or passion in serving.||My husband likes this hotel especially the location and the amenities around it, so would come back or recommend friends to this hotel. Personally, I do like this hotel but find that at its grade, the rates are of the high side even it's on offer. Actually the highest of all the similar grade hotels we had stayed...
