The food was good, what you would expect from a hip place that takes itself seriously, and the interior environment would be nice if not for the god awful behaviour of the proprietor.

He was brisk, cold, he basically pressured my partner into changing her order from a hot coffee to a cold because he apparently couldn't be bothered steaming up a hot one. He gave us about two seconds after we came into his restaurant with water bottles on a hot day before telling us to put them away as no outside drinks were allowed. He had no interest in building a relationship with us and i wonder if it might have been because of my ethnicity.

It's a shame that this person who has clearly tried to bring a slice of foreign burger joints to Nagoya feels put-upon by the duties of being a host.

The very best place I've been in Nagoya so far!

• Very cozy.
• The hamburger is customizable.
• Salad was fresh and deliciously seasoned.
• Potato was amazingly crunchy and fresh tasted.

It was so different from the usual pre cooked and frozen stuff we usually eat, I was surprised to eat something so delicious (I don't know how it was prepared I must admit, but tasted very fresh).

It's been ages since last time I actually really loved eating something.
