Okay, so we like sushi. We've had a lot of sushi in my home country, which you already can't compare to sushi in Japan, of course. But we've also had sushi here. Let me tell you, nothing comes close to this.

You'll be greeted by a nice lady and two gentlemen behind the counter making sushi right in front of you. The menu is fully in Japanese, but one gentleman behind the counter speaks a little English to explain it to you.

You'll just go with the biggest menu (2900 yen per person), which is a steal in and of itself. You'll then proceed to greatly enjoy some of the best sushi you'll ever have.

Make sure to ask for the recommended sake during your stay as well!

The very best thing they had to offer was a piece of grilled Japanese salmon. I have never in my life tasted anything better than this.

We would come back, but we've sworn not to go to the same restaurant twice during our honeymoon in Japan.

Thank you for being the...

This local owned shop is a hidden gem close to the touristy Osu shopping street. The service is impeccable, the chefs make the utmost effort to communicate with you using google translate, but honestly you can simply feel his passion and love for his craft through his food and body language.

I had the sushi omasake, at a shockingly affordable price of around 30 per pax. There were a variety of fish meats: from the standard like prawn to the rarer conger. All of which were absolutely delicious

The chef was extremely attentive to us; he noticed that my mum was already feeling full and offered to end the sushi course for her at no additional cost. I might have had a lacklustre day; but the enthusiastic trio working at this quaint sushi place...

Hidden in one of the alley beside osu shopping street is one of the most authentic japanese family run restaurant experience. The younger chef although has limited english but uses google translate which made communication easy. Sashimi was fresh and nice especially the cod fish smelt with the sauce that the chef made it was just heavenly. Nigiri was also super nice especially being served omakase style. The chawamushi and miso soup was also oishi and it gives you that home cooked feel. Will definitely come back again when...
