We are staying at the DoubleTree hotel. We went looking for a place to relax and one street over we found J's Bar. Good music. Good service. Good food. Good prices. Darts. Karaoke. We spent several evenings in J's enjoying the local bar experience. Well worth visiting!! Stop in and have a drink!

Great local bar with American music vibes. Bartender spoke pretty good English, so had good conversations. Basic whiskey and beer but great dive bar atmosphere. They have a karaoke room that is a more modern style but good views of the streets. A must visit for a place to have a drink and relax.

かなり酔っ払った状態で入ったこちらのバー (覚えてる限りで口コミを書きます) 壁に描かれた『J's Bar 1950』がとても目立っていました。かっこいい✨ お酒、一品ともにお安くいただけて、地元の方で賑わってました♪ 写真で見返してみても、お酒の種類はかなり豊富な印象があります。 陽気な雰囲気で楽しい時間があっという間でした。 お店にいる男性の方は音楽をされている方なので、その方のグループのMVなどを見させていただきました。 楽しかったです！ ありがとうございます。

Nice bar, nice owner BUT be warned extra charges and allows customers to smoke inside. Thats OK but when youre paying a seat charge and offered nothing in return then its a little bit of a stump.

Maybe offer customers nuts or something if youre going to charge 800 yen on top of fheir bill.

I wanted to stay longer but it was very smokey in there. The awamori wasn’t great.

But if seat charges don’t annoy you, or smoke doesnt bother you - its a great bar! Nice owner, if he responds to this - ill give him five star. 👍🏻

A small glass of Awamori was 600 Yen with the addition of a 800 sear charge. So 2000 in total - not bad, but not the best unless you’re able to stay for longer! Open very late until 5am...
