This shabu shabu is located on the second floor inside this shopping center like area. There is parking all around the building and inside on the second floor.
One of the best things for English speakers is the introduction thought they have on the tablet thoroughly explains everything about your experience. So if you are new, you will have a very good idea on how the shabu place works.
The staff was friendly, however their English skills were not very strong. You don't need to communicate with them too much though since most of the ordering is done through the tablet. We only had one instance where we needed to speak with them specifically because our tablet stopped working for a little bit.
It has a lot of the standard shabu shaboo offerings. The one noted missing item was the konjac noodles. So if you are low carb, no noodles for you, but you'll have the veggies and everything else. I was confused a little bit about the layout since they had custard and jelly over by the drink area. I felt like it was a dessert item, and the jelly is a liquid and not solid so I'm not sure if there was something Lost in translation. We like that there was a lot of dessert options, ice cream, waffles, the custard, shaved ice. There were no cakes here at this one, but normally I don't eat the cakes anyways and I prefer the waffle with my Ice cream, but that's a personal preference.
In this case, we recommend going for the beef option that is top blade and not the cheapest one. The cheapest one I felt was a little tough due to the luck of fat. This restaurant is very close to a five star for me. If I return I will probably update an upgrade it. The pricing is good and the desserts are also included instead of being separate. This is a place where I'd want to eat the dessert more so than some of the other restaurants. So it works out for me. Drinks however, are separate and an additional charge, whether they are non-alcoholic or alcoholic. As usual, everyone at the table needs to order the same course. We went for the two soups instead of four, and I would recommend the spicy kimchi one.
When leaving the restaurant and driving out, our GPS point is us in the wrong direction. We went one way down the wrong way. So be aware that if you're trying to follow your GPS, you might...
Read moreSyabu-yo in Naha offers a delightful shabu-shabu experience with a focus on fresh ingredients and a customizable dining style. The restaurant features an all-you-can-eat buffet where diners can choose from a variety of meats, vegetables, and broths. The meat selection, especially the beef and pork, is of good quality, and the vegetable bar is diverse and fresh. One highlight is their dipping sauces, which add an extra layer of flavor to each bite. The restaurant’s casual and welcoming atmosphere makes it ideal for groups or families. While the service can be a bit slow during peak hours, the overall experience is satisfying for...
