After finishing our hike, we decided to casually explore the area before heading home. By chance, we stumbled upon a small stand selling beef skewers—and wow, what an incredible find! The skewers were unbelievably tender and juicy, making me question if this was some of the best I’ve had on this trip. I’m not sure if it was our hunger or the unmatched quality of Japanese beef, but every bite felt like pure bliss. I had to pause after each bite to truly enjoy. The highlight, however, was the condiment they served alongside. I believe it was yuzukosho paste, which added an extraordinary layer of flavor. The bright, citrusy tartness of the yuzu paired with a bold, spicy kick from the chili peppers created a well-balanced combination that was tangy, hot, and absolutely addictive. A little dab was all it took to enhance the already incredible meat. This unexpected treat made our day, and I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. It’s a perfect example of how the simplest experiences can leave the most lasting impressions.

4 stars for food, minus one star because we had very upset stomachs after eating here that caused us to throw up and lose our appetite. The set for ¥1,000 is cheap because it has no protein: just soba and the specialty rice balls in peanut and sesame sauce. We also ordered the beef which was very tender though also expensive and the fried chicken.

Good location opposite the M bus. Sells souvenirs and has a food kiosk with some decent food. Has plenty of seats while enjoying your food.
