Adorable spot for lunch. We were two people eating here and both had curries. We called ahead of time and I brought my gluten-free card (a must have for traveling Japan as a person with celiac) and they were able to accommodate. They have one gluten free meal. It is a yellow curry with shrimp, very flavourful, slightly spicy. My mum ate the seafood curry and said “It’s delicious!” She tried mine and decided she wants to come back tomorrow and eat it. I’ll be very happy to return. It should be noted that I think the menu changes throughout the seasons.

The atmosphere is comfy and cute. I love that you take your shoes off at the door. We ate with a view of the sea and the fishing boats. If you explore the space you will find cute mini-artworks and recommendations for the island. I found this booklet where people leave notes and drawings. I left a drawing of the space and...

This quaint little Cafe was a real find! We were wandering without a plan, happened to see it and went in for dinner.

Couldn't have been happier. Menu changed daily and is available in English. The service was great and most menu items are a "set", served with salad, soup and a soft drink. You can upgrade to beer or wine for a small additional fee.

The casserole we ordered was cheesy with a rich tomato sauce and good quality beef. Our Risotto had great big chunks of octopus and a creamy texture with rich flavor.

Desert was homemade chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream - dense chocolate flavor tempered by creamy notes.

We felt lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Right around the block from the main bus stop at Nakacho - worth hunting for. Be sure to take a peek at the many local artist's CDs and jewelry for sale...
