The place feels like going back in time, we came without reservation and they accommodated us within 5 minutes in a private room looking over the park's pond. The whole menu is in Japanese with no English version available so I would recommend you to download a camera translator (like the Google translate) so you can have an idea of what you're ordering. The food was very good but it was not exceptional (4/5), it is very nicely plated and feels like an authentic Japanese experience. Our favorite part was the dessert (like a flan) because its texture just feels so different, it's like having an ocean of a beautiful flavor feeling your mouth (yes, an strange way of describing but try it yourself and see if you agree)....

Avoided the breakfast included with our room from here because of it. Do not dine here (but good luck finding any other suitable food in the area).
They also prioritize/let in outside guests for meals over hotel guests who are paying over $700/night to stay...
