We've now been there at least four times thinking, okay this time will be different... but it never was. Ordering a takeaway gelato averaged us 20 minutes wait. It just makes no sense. I think what they do is, after you order your name goes into their order queue and you just have to wait until they get to your order regardless of whether you are dining in for pizza or waiting on a takeout gelato cone. Bearing in mind that there were fewer tourists due to covid, we were surprised to find that we had to sign our name and wait... for a takeaway cone!
