When we were ready to head back from the Nara park, we took a path going through a neighborhood and randomly found this place - a private residence that serves tea and dessert. We went there and I think it was one of the best experiences we had in our Japan trip - not just because of the food but because of the fact that we were inside a house, overlooking their backyard, In the adjustment room, there was a lady making a private music lesson with her student.
